I'm not affiliated with the University of California at Santa Cruz. But since it's located in the best part of town, I go there often. One day, in October 2007, I was riding past Oakes College just as the sun was about to set. The day was clear, and I had my camera with me, so I took a set of photos and stitched them together to make a 360 degree panorama.
When this page first loads, it includes only an ordinary photo, showing part of Oakes College. The view is from the south, across the small recreational field. If you would like to view the panorama, you must have QuickTime and JavaScript enabled. You cannot load the pano on handheld devices. When you click the link, part of your screen may momentarily go dark as QuickTime loads. Be patient. After the pano loads, click and drag your mouse across the image to pan left or right. Use SHIFT to zoom in, CTRL to zoom out. If the loaded pano initially shows as an empty black or white rectangle, the image will appear when you first click on it.
The panorama is a copyrighted image, which may not be used elsewhere or redistributed.
