The Celtic Tree Calendar - Trees of Equinox and Solstice.

Note that the equinox and solstice dates usually vary between the 20th and 22nd day of the month. Here, however, we use the dates given by Vescoli:

Spring Equinox
21 March Oak - for its strength and individuality.

Summer Solstice
24 June Birch - tree of the midnight sun, tree of light, the hardiest of deciduous trees.

Fall Equinox
23 Sept Olive - for its nourishing, oil-rich fruit, and for its long, slow, patient growth.

Winter Solstice
22 Dec Beech - for its complete leaf canopy, the oil of its nuts, and its sense of when it is necessary to wait and when to grow.
